Eighty Mile Beach

It was 18 degrees and very windy this morning with a forecast maximum of 29 degrees. As it was too windy for the beach, we went up to the shop and bought some Sudoku and Crossword books to keep us occupied for the day. We also bought a freshly baked large bread roll which we shared for lunch. We must stop having a double ice-cream in the afternoon – not good for us – must stop but very tempting.
We spent the day out of the wind doing sudokus and crosswords, and enjoying the sun while we tried to think of something to do. At 4:30pm we finally thought of something to do – Happy Hour!
