Melbourne to Frankston
Day 2 - Sunday 12 May 2013
16.05.2013
We were woken up at 5:45 am and advised that unloading would start at about 6:30 am with the truck decks 3 and 5 being the first to go. We were off the boat fairly quickly and on our way to the Big4 Caravan Park at Frankston. As we drove away from the ferry terminal we were greeted with a magnificent sunrise.

We arrived at the caravan park at 7:30 am and waited for the office to open at 8:00 am so we could check-in. We were allocated site 106 - a drive through site. We did a very basic set-up, power and water only as we will be leaving early the next day to take the van to Trailblazers at Braeside.
After showering and having breakfast we rang Kirrily and arranged to meet for a Mothers Day Lunch at Sails on the Bay at Elwood. Lunch was a special three course meal which we accompanied with an outstanding Whitebox Heathcote shiraz that went down very well.

After lunch we returned to Frankston for the night. As has become a usual event when we stay at the Frankston Caravan Park we had heavy rain overnight.
