Dropping the van at Braeside
Day 3 - Monday 13 May 2013
16.05.2013
We were up early to pack up for the trip to the Trailblazers factory at Braeside. It was still raining but we managed to pack up between showers and got away just before 8:00 am. By the time we got to Braeside the rain had eased and Phil was waiting for us to arrive. We agreed the work that was to be done - some minor repairs, a new power point and a general service. Hopefully all will be completed in a week and we will be on our way again next week.
After handing over the van we went to the nearby Red Pillar Café for a breakfast of raison toast and coffee. After breakfast we headed for Kirrily's place at Windsor and "moved in" for a few days. After dropping our bags it was off to the Woollies supermarket and BWS for some essential supplies. Back at the apartment David spent some time on the phone trying to track down a Black Wolf Directors Chair with blue fabric to match the one we already have. We located a chair at the Anaconda store at the Springvale Homemakers Centre which turned out to be the home of the Ikea store that we had visited last year. After buying the chair we checked out JB HiFi and Harvey Norman looking for a reasonably priced PVR to install in the van - but nothing suitable.
