Tallebudgera Creek - Day 1

Day 92 - Sunday 11 August 2013

We had a bit of high cloud this morning, however the forecast was for a temperature of 14 to 24 degrees. The cloud soon cleared and we had another beautiful day. So good in fact that we decided to extend our stay so we added another 3 days to make our stay here 10 days in total.

This morning we lazed around at camp reading papers, and after lunch we went for a walk around the caravan park. For a bit of exercise we decided to walk around Burleigh Head to Burleigh Beach for a coffee. As we walked along the path beside Tallebudgera Creek we saw a Hoon tearing about in a small runabout. A number of concerned bystanders were trying to get the Water Police interested in doing something about the situation. When we returned from our walk we noticed that the runabout was upside down and being towed to shore by another boat - we were not surprised!
