Myrtle Park - Day 3
Wednesday 12 February 2014
14.02.2014
Not so warm today - 12 to 22 degrees and cloudy.
David spent the day trying to sort out why the inverter was continually blowing fuses - eventually he found that the 12 volt socket at the front of the van was incorrectly connected with the negative terminal connected to the positive wire. It probably happened when some work was done on our van last year, as we have not used the inverter for quite a while. While it took a while to find, its all fixed and working now. The loose connection in out satellite box has now been soldered and it is now working properly - over 80% signal strength - we have never had that before - so the box was probably faulty when we bought it a few years ago.
We had a fire again at night and invited our neighbours from site 7 across to enjoy the fire. Brad and Kim are from Noosa and are travelling in a camper trailer with their dog CJ, and Australian cattle dog. Not only does the dog have a coat for the cooler evenings, it also has pyjamas for sleeping. We have seen just about everything now.
No photos today.
