Chadstone Shopping Centre

Day 4 - Tuesday 1 July 2014

We drove to Windsor to pick up Kirrily and then we headed to the Chadstone Shopping Centre so Di could get her shopping fix. While at Chaddy we had a nice lunch at Café Sapore, before David went for a wander around the centre on his own while the girls did their thing! Only a couple of small bags so we got off lightly.

After dinner David gave Yablett a call to catch up and compare notes on the Cats performances so far this year. Daryl, Janine and Will are at Port Douglas for a week or so - it is school holidays in Victoria. Daryl said the water temperature at Port Douglas was 24 degrees which is much warmer than Warrnambool at the moment. While Geelong are still a chance to make the top four, they need to end up opposite Hawthorn so that they do not end with an inter-state game against either Sydney, Port Adelaide or Fremantle. The Cats are much more likely to win in Melbourne than inter-state going on performances so far this year.

We hope to catch up with Daryl at the business end of the season when we come back through Melbourne - might even get to the football for a semi-final hopefully featuring Geelong.
