Goulburn to Lane Cove Tourist Park in Sydney

Day 8 - Saturday July 5 2014

Not so cold last night as it only got down to six degrees in Goulburn. As we had stayed hitched up overnight it was a 20 minute pack up and we were on our way by 9:30 am. Being Saturday the traffic was fairly light on the Hume Highway and at the halfway point we stopped at the Pheasants Nest Service Centre for a morning coffee and some fuel. The approach to Sydney is now very straight forward - Hume Highway on to the M7 which becomes the M2 then turn left at Delhi Road and left again into Plessey Road and the Lane Cove Tourist Park.

We arrived at about mid-day and checked in for eight nights on Site 6. We only did a minimal set up as we were staying with Di's sister Jan and Andy at Artarmon. After setting up and sorting out enough of our clothes and possessions to keep us going for a week, we headed over to Artarmon. Jan and Andy had their grandson Henry staying for a sleep-over while Bec and Andy Lee were visiting friends in the Blue Mountains.
