Southport - Day 17

Day 64 - Saturday 30 August 2014

A beautiful day in Southport today - mainly sunny with a maximum of 22 degrees.

Colin from Australia Wide Annexes arrived at 9:30 am this morning to install our new porch, which attaches to the front of the Annexe.

Our new Porch was delivered this morning

In the afternoon we made another trip to Go Camping in Nerang for a few specialised bits and pieces, then on to Bunnings for more bits and pieces. I think that we are now all set up with our new annexe and porch. At Go Camping we also purchased three new tent poles to enable Frosty to better support his awning. As David had all the tools (electric drill, drill bits, and hacksaw) he volunteered to do the installation for Frosty.

For dinner tonight we settled back for a magnificent lamb roast with roast vegies. We are now watching the Geelong game on the television, but not sure whether the Cats have made up their minds who they want to play next week. Win and they play Hawthorn on the MCG, or lose and the play Sydney in Sydney. No contest - they need to win - Go Cats!!!!
