Nambucca Heads - Day 1 to Day 3
Monday 31 August to Wednesday 2 September 2015
10.09.2015
Monday was a glorious day today with a maximum of 20 degrees after a cool night with a 5 degree minimum.
We started the day with a haircut for David and some shopping for Di while she was waiting, she is able to find nice little boutiques almost anywhere. Then we made a visit to the supermarket to keep us going until Sydney. The rest of the day was spent relaxing in the sun with the newspapers.
Tuesday was very like Monday although a little more cloud. We spent the day relaxing in the sun, before going to the Tavern at the entrance to the Caravan Park for dinner. Di had lamb cutlets, while David had a steak with a prawn topper - both meals were excellent.
On Wednesday we drove up to Taylor's Arm for lunch at the Pub With No Beer. While free camping is available across the road from the Pub with access to facilities at the Hotel there were no starters. David had a home made steak and kidney pie that actually had steak and kidney in it, while Di had a ham and tomato toasty. We drove back to Nambucca Heads via Bowraville over a few gravel roads, which meant that we had to wash the Nissan when we got back.
