The Line of Lode Lookout and Miner's Memorial is a dramatic, iconic structure on the edge of the mullock heap that dissects Broken Hill. The memorial names the 800+ miners who lost their lives working on the Broken Hill mines. The Lookout provides spectacular views of Broken Hill.
In more than 125 years of mining, Broken hill has generated more than $100 billion, and still generates $400 million annually and employs more than 500 miners.
